On a LinkStation Live LS-X1.0TL with firmware 1.62 is it possible to share a folder and set the access restrictions so that some users have read/write access but other users have read only?

I just realized that I didn't correctly ask my question, so I'd like to restate it:  Can I setup a shared folder such that certain users have read/write access to it via a credentials, but everyone else has read only access to it without credentials?

Yes and no. Problem is, windows doesn't support it by standard, however, you can install dropbox on your PC, make the "dropbox folder" be on the NAS and then head to the Dropbox website UI to determine who can delete and add things... I know this isn't what you're looking for, but that's the only decent solution I found so far.

You know what, even if it isn't exactly what I was hoping for, it's one of those solutions that you tuck away because you'll probably need it later on.  Thank you for the reply.
