Hi All,

 

I am having this error message after i reboot the unit, is there any way i can stop the disk checking process? Will it damage the disk if i force it to stop?

Currently a Format or Disk Check is being carried out.
During this time the LinkStation settings can not be changed.
Also the file share service will not be available.

This is Raid5 configuration. All light are in green and not flashing.

Already let it run more that 20 hours, and now i cannot see the icon in NAS Navigator.

Trying to shut down the unit by press and hold the power button, but not getting any response.

Should I pull the power cable? Will it damage the HDD?
