Can't move bittorrent download files once complete? Help!

I just got my Linkstation Live (500Gb) and love it so far. Access it from Boxee on my MacBook and with XBMC on my old Xbox with no problems at all. Love it! Love it! Love it!

I just started using the built-in bittorrent client - and love the idea that I don't have to leave my Mac on to download torrents - except that once they are completed, I can't seem to move the files to where they need to reside OR rename them do to permissions errors. What gives?

I saw a posting about using the web interface to rename and delete files - and that DOES work - but certainly that's a less than ideal solution. I should be able to drag-n-drop those files and rename them from the Finder, the FTP client, etc..

Am I missing something here?

Scope the downloads section for a firmware update that may resolve your issue.

...Just to voice my opinion, I think using an unmanaged bittorent client is a bad idea.  I haven't used their client yet, but unless it is fully featured and supports blocklists I think it's a recipe for disaster.

just my 2.

alThanks - I've updated to firmware 1.02 already - is there a newer version I don't know about?

There's a 1.06 firmware for Windows (no dl for mac???) which has a "BitTorrent Fix, System Boot and login issues fixed" note...sounds right up your alley.
