Are the 5800's user upgradeable to 4TB platters in whole post purchase? Replacing two smaller BuffaloTech with single, keeping future expansion in mind. thanks, Joseph

Technically yes but it would void the warranty as far as im aware.

Thanks. About the time more room might be needed, just bet the warrenty will be almost up anyhow. Never had to use any of the warrenty language from BuffaloTech products anyhow. LOL!
