HI

Hope someone can help, here's my problem

Linkstation Pro Duo LS-WTGL-R1 with 2 USB, on start up flashes red 6 times repeatedly, after pressing reset it starts up with 2 green lights.

Can't access Linkstation through web browser

connected directly to PC with IP 192.168.11.1 and NAS Navigator shows the Linkstation in EM mode with IP 192.168.11.150, but when I try to flash the firmware, the linkstation is not found.

Tried modifying ini file to force flash but still not found.

I ran TFTP Boot, NAS is found on IP 192.168.11.150

The firmware is correct as I've used it before.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Solved

Turns out I was using the wrong firmware version, but I'm sure when I downloaded it, there were no other firmware versions available.

Go figure!

Could have been on the wrong site I guess, but the important thing is, it's fixed.

For anyone who has a simular problem, I used firmware version 1.09 for model LS-W1.0GL/R1 and I got it here;

http://www.buffalotech.com/support-and-downloads/downloads">http://www.buffalotech.com/support-and-downloads/downloads

Just enter your model number

Oh, and when I went to this site using Google Chrome it didn't display any downloads.

Hope this helps some else out.

Regards

Just wanted to add something.

I thought I wasn't going mad, I did use firmware to 3.09 when this happened before, which is of course the wrong firmware!

Tried that again but this time It didn't work, which is a good thing, can't figure how it happened.

The Linkstation worked OK but  print server didn't work after the update. Hmm that's why!!!

So, just be careful guys
