Just saw that v1.62 was available. Thought I'd give it a try after the issues with 1.60...unfortunately I had to roll back to 1.58 again (Linkstation Pro Duo).

Issues with Twonky still remain, and are no worse than before. Under 1.60 where xvid avi files were recognised as mpeg2, now under 1.62 xvid avi's are not detected at all when trying to view them on my Sony Bravia KDL-40ex720 (ver: PKG4.012GAA.0104), the directories show as empty. However when accessing via the Twonky WebGUI all files are counted and indexed. Twonky server and Linkstation restarts make no difference.

Rolled back to 1.58 and DLNA streaming returns to normal. Mildly annoying, but these things happen.

Is there an option in the Updater.ini file that allows the Linkstation to be updated, but not update Twonky?

I am at a loss!

was updtaed by nasnavi to this firmware, ever since i have been going in circles trying to use webaccess. I can only access it on computer attached to network - not on android via wireless??? has been fine since new but since update i can't access.

I have tried port forwarding etc but don' know if i am doing it rigt (netgear dgn1000 router)

LS-CH2.0TL-V2 (in the UK)

Firmware version:1.61 ???i can't even find this version online nor any previous versions to force back.

All i get is uploader can't find LS to update???

I have tried restting router and NAS to factory settings but still no web access unless through web admin page 'open webaccess'.

your problem the port forwarding, contact netgear and get them to forward whatexternal port your using for web access to thenip, address of the linkstation. Once this is done and done correct it will work.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

I have similar problem!!!

I have LS-WVL and yesterday I update it to 1.62 firmware version. DLNA situation became terrible. Since yesterday I can't see NAS content on my TV. Where I can find stable firmware version from DLNA point of view?

Before 1.62 version, I had 1.56: when nas shut-down or restart, I must restart manually the media-server.Please, give me suggestions.

Many thanks.

Here is the link for v1.58.....which works well for me.

You'll need to update the LSUpdate.ini file (or something like that name) and change one of the settings to "0". Can't recall the exact setting name, but something along the lines of "force update" or "detect prev version" (second last setting?), that should point you in the right direction. Sorry I don't have the exact details, not on my home machine.

Many thanks Azaghul!

I'm following brian_nataniel guide about force firmware update procedures.

I hope well!!!

EUREKA!

I forced 1.58 firmware version and now DLNA works good.

If nas restart, I don't need restart media server manually: the content of share folder refresh automatically.

Many thanks.

I upgraded to Version 1.62 but DLNa was not working , it shows MP3 . Pics but No video files other than MP4 on Sony 22EX420 Bravia.

Then as suggested downgraded to 1.58 but the above mentioned Tv does not see any media file " cant read list" but media available from imedia share app from iphone to 22EX420.

Any solution to this................. Help required !
