New Buffalo LS XL 1tb verification of Time machine keeps failing help?

We have bought a new Buffalo Link Station Live 1TB so we can use it as a backup for our new macbook Pro, after instalation and setup we  managed to suss out swithcing the TM  on via the configuration but within a day TM told us it couldnt verify the backup ad had to redo it. So after reading a bit here we made a new share dedicated to TM, without recycle on and just for Apple but the same thing has happened, so now were at a lot as to what to do.

 

Can anyone help? or does this NAS not work very well with TM?

We are running firmware 1.56 and a new Macbook pro with Mountain lion..apreciate any advice , as if it's no good we shall return it to Ebuyer.

I am concerned by the lack of reply, are there no Buffalo support people here? this is a new buffalo product and am very unsure where to get support as it's not working as it should with Tiem machine.
