Yesterday we had the everyday email notification about the state of the buffalo but today we didn't. I logged in on the web interface and tried to send a test email and it said "failed to send test message"

What could be happening?

That's great, how about tell us what device you actually have and the firmware your using. Read the forum guidelines before posting again.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Hi,

Sorry about that.

It's a Link Station Duo 2TB

Firmware is:1.34 (DTCP-IP:1.60-20120615)

No Disk errors, (Usage Rate 10%)

Running Time : 109 days

Everything was working fine till today when I noticed that we didn't get the email notification about it.

The buffallo is at one of our clients so at the moment the only information I have is the one on the web interface. Please let me know if there is anything else I could find out.

Nobody else went on it or changed anything since yesterday so was wondering what could have happened that made not send the notificationand fail the email test.

Thanks
