hi,

I'm trying to use web access to upload large batches of photos (2-20 megs per photo), using the upload multiple files option, but it fails every time. One of two things will happen--either the progress indicator just disappears, or the progress bar stops moving and data is no longer transferring.

SINGLE FILE UPLOAD WORKS. So I know everything is configured properly. Any solution to this? Thanks.

EDIT: I tried uploading one really small file with the multiple file uploader to see if it would finish before it got stuck and it did, but then failed to copy and gave the error, "could not be uploaded, no such directory".

note I have tried with the latest versions of Chrome/IE and Firefox, same problem on each.

EDIT EDIT: Well I think I've solved it. Don't use special characters in your folder names. I had an & which seems to have been mucking things up. Buffalo you might want to mention this in a FAQ or troubleshooting guide.

These units do have a Linux based format. In Linux, special characters can mean commands.

1. The target user of the Linkstation Live wouldn't be familiar with Linux

2. The single file upload works to directories with special characters in them, it's only the multiple file upload that doesn't work. So it's more likely a bug than a problem with Linux.
