I I was having issues, moved everything off and deleted most of it, then went to maintenance and can't remember the exact operation, it wasn't rebuild, it was the first one, to restore to original settings, I did that and selected erase data.

It took all day to complete, went through 4 steps.  When 4/4 was completed it was working fine, I was clicking around in storage and noticed it said the drive was new and I needed to chose if I wanted to mirror or not, I then hit storage to click out and now it just shows "formatting" and that I can't do anything to complete.  Is this common? And how long should this take now?

It shows formatting disk with spinning wheel, its different than the last which showed an estimated completion with minor details of what was taking place.  This has no info, just formatting.

Any advice info?

Was thinking to restart but figured ill wait until tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

i thiknk i may understand what happened.

when it read it as new i had the option to mirror or not, i thought it was good to go and chose not to miror.  i guess either way i would have waited to format, mirror or not.

any info on how long this should take?

Yeah it's still running going on 12 plus hours. Can I pull the plug to restart it?
