LS-WXL Firmware to ver. 2.51 with EM

It is very strange that my NAS LS-WXL is suddently back to firmware ver. 2.51 with EM mode after reset it just now.   I am trying to install the ver 1.6 back to see if it can solve the issue.   Do you have any idea about this?

It seems works after forcing the ver 1.6 onto NAS, still wonder why this can happen that Ver. 2.51 is back with EM??

2.51 is not a firmware version for this unit. 2.51 is a version of NAS Navigator though. That may be part of the confusion.

Thanks for the replying, you are right that 2.51 is the navigator.   It occured today that EM mode happed,  and I can not see the firmware verion in the navigator interface.  I did force update the ver .1.6 again, and now it is working.  It is very stange like this.  Do you have any idea about it?

This issue came back and forth again and again,  what I did is to force install the firmware with ver 1.6.    And I got a feeling that when I used BT to download something for a couple of hours, this issue pop up.  And it was the same issue when I force install the firm ware with 1.37 yesterday.  Could some expert to explain what the problem it and how to solve this issue?  many thanks!

This monster is still with me although I re-format the HD(2T Seagate) on laptop via USB docking,   help please~!!

Thank you so much, Brian.  It was working after doing so.  It was running very well for 2days without any issue.  Unfortunately it randomly occurs another issue of the communication issue(with the Exclamation mark) after I changed the router, which could disappear itself for some time. It is strange that my laptop can not access the NAS, but my the HD player can access it . I will try to get some screenshot soon.
