As per title, when I stream video to either my xbox or blu ray player, streaming just stops after a period of time - while the video is playing.  This has only started since I installed 1.60.

Is there a fix for this, or can someone point me to the previous firmware so I can reinstall until this gets resolved?

Thanks

Yes, rebooted the device, restarted the router, restarted both the xbox and blu ray and still the same issue :-(

davo

Then reset the Linkstatio to factory defaults! (System -> Restore/Erase -> Restore Linkstation to Factory Defaults)

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Wont that mean I'll have to set everything up again?  (ie pain in the bum) and lose all my files which are currently on it

davo

It resets the configuration but should not effect the files, ensure you have a backup of any important data at all times however.

drmemory

what type of files stop streaming (AVI, mpeg4, etc)?

ndg_uk

It has problems with both Avis and MP4 files

drmemory

please send the details of your xbox and bluray player (model/firmware version) to drmemory@buffalotech.com

i think that the issue maybe something to do with the updated firmware on the drive as I have recently changed my router and using itunes on my Mac causes the same issue.  This means this interuption happens on an xbox 360, Sony blu ray and iMac and the only think in common is the NAS drive.

This has only happened since upgrading to 1.60.  Can someone reply and let me know how to roll back to a previous version of the firmware?

Thanks
