: Sequence for making Iscsi Drive Local drive
: statdaddy505 October 25, 2013, 10:10:23 AM
Have installed the terastation and set up the volume but I have apparently missed a step.  I want the Iscsi volume to show as a local drive.  I can map out to it through its IP address but I don't want to map a network drive on the server itself.  I want the drive to show as local on the server so I can create a network share from the server's local drive.

Does anyone know the proper sequence to get this done?

Run the microsoft iSCSI connection tool in Windows, enter the Terastations IP then select the volume, the volume will appear as unallocated in disk management and you would need to reformat it.

It will then appear as a local disk, ensure that the iSCSI connection is turn on the Terastation.
