Title: Linkstation live remote backup without hardware VPN?
Post by: wanderAround on March 20, 2012, 12:08:19 AM

Hello I'm considering buying two linkstations and locating one at another location, to be used as a backup.

But it looks like this is not possible without a hardware VPN, based on previous discussions:

Most of the posts are very old.

Is it currently possible to do a remote backup without a VPN server running?

This is definitely a deal breaker for me if I can't do that.

Cheers,

Ben
