Title: LS-CH1.0TL-EU has red LED flashing six times after erase procedure
Post by: progers on February 24, 2012, 05:52:12 AM

After performing an erase procedure, my Linkstation is just showing red LED flashing six times.  I can't access it from the network.  I have tried the factory reset procedure and the TFTP boot procedure.  The TFTP boot procedure appeared to work in that data was written port:3985 4133 blocks served and :2399 13779 blocks served but afterwards, the blue status LED was flashing rapidly, would not stop and the Linkstation would not power down.  After powering it down by turning off the power, the original problem re-appeared.

Is there anything else I can try?

Did anyone get an answer to this?  I've recently experienced the same issue.   It seems the 'erase' procedure deletes all of the information, including the process of mounting the drive.....

If you follow the TFTP process correctly to restore th unit it will work.
