Title: MacOSX need help installing LinkNavigator from 25mb dl
Post by: cleantone on January 18, 2009, 12:16:35 PM
A client gave me a hs-dh500gl drive to put probably 100+gb of data onto for him. I can't figure this machine out. I guess it is a server of some sort. So I gather I need to do an FTP type of transfer. He didn't include the install CDROM in the package he mailed. I found the site and found the download of the manual. It shows how to instal LinkNavgator from the CDROM. I downloaded the CD Image from the site. I can't figure out how to install from it. The manual tells me to click on Link Navigator icon to install but the image download doesn't have that. I tried to make the folder a CD Image to mount hoping that would help. It didn't. Anyone have any info for me on how to install the software on a Mac with the downloadable data?

On the buffalo download section you can choose any product to get the Mac Link Navigator software.

Also if you direct connect your mac to the machine and reboot it, the buffalo device will boot up at 192.168.11.150

you will have to set a static IP on your mac to get to it.
