Title: LS-CHL constantly restarting
Post by: jasonlucey on January 21, 2012, 03:04:47 PM

Hi, I have an  ls-chl and it seems like it is constantly restarting.  I am not able to access it.  When I power it on, the drive starts spinning then the light flashes pink once then blue very fast 20 times, then it seems to shut down and restart all over again.  I cannot access it at all any more, or even see it on my network.  It worked fine for a year or so, but now it is totally unaccessible.  I had it turned off for a while, but other than that nothing has happened to it.  I just sits on the shelf.

Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks,

Jason

so, if by "reset the unit" you mean to hold the function button down for eight seconds until the lights start blinking and then press the button again, i did that  but it has not had any effect.  the unit is still power cycling non-stop.  when I held the function button down it did stop and the blue light started blinking very fast.  but once i pressed the function button again it just started power cycling over and over.  any other ideas?
