Title: mini extreme not detected
Post by: magellan on December 31, 2011, 09:23:16 AM

I tried to hook up a HD-PZ1.0 USB 3 on 3 different PC (using both USB 2 and USB 3) with no success. The led on the unit will tur on on for 0.5 second then it shuts down. I could hear the disk spinning but nothing else happens.

Second problem: I tried to download the cd -image (unit bought in Canada and using Canada-USA support page), no success here again,  the serial number is not recognised)

Thanks for help!

Wow that is some awesome support you received there mate!

I can't download anything as my serial number(s) are not recognised either
My ministration is doing exactly the same, I guess I will get zero support too :-(

Oh well, Toshiba here I come.

Maybe no one answered because it has been answered a million times already.

1. If the serial number is not working then you are on the wrong regional website.
2. If the Ministation is only powering on for a few seconds then powering off, try a different USB faulty AND PC, if you have done that and its still the same then it's faulty.
