Title: Power led keeps blinking on NAS LS-WVL
Post by: wouterhoekstra on December 08, 2011, 05:25:38 AM

Anybody knows what could cause the power led on my LS-WVL to keep blinking for 24hrs now. It should only do that while starting up/shutting down, am I correct? After disconnecting an reconnecting power cord I can hear both drives fire up and shut down again. After that the led keeps blinking and nothing alse happens..... Anyone?

Ok, the situation just got worse! I tried one more time to disconnect power to force the NAS to re-init. but now it seems to be in EM-mode. As I searched for EM-mode I found some scary posts :(   What to do without currupting my data? B.t.w. I'm running in RAID 1.

If it's in EM mode then your only option is to reinstall the firmware.

And all data is lost that way?

ReInstalling the firmware does not delete the data.
