Title: cloudstor
Post by: jabbathehutt_98 on December 07, 2011, 05:05:49 PM

I purchased a Cloudstor enclosure, w/o a hard drive. I have two SATA drives formatted to EXT3 format. Can not get past firmware error message (6 red blinking lights). I have read MANY of the forum posts but can not get past this problem. Have tried, direct Ethernet connection with laptop, OS X 10.7, Ubuntu 11,and W7. I also attempted to use a TFTP, I admit I am out of my league with that one. I would very much like to make this system function.

You have to TFTP boot.

Read the corresponding FAQ at the beginning of the forum carefully.

I think Cloudstore are not mentioned, but all instructions are valid.

Use one blank disk, it will be properly formatted.
