I have a LS-WVL which is running firmware 1.57 (dtcp-ip:1.60-20120615) and an ipod touch which is running the webaccess i app (version 1.40) [Twonky 6.0.42-dev] and am experiencing the same thing!

I can browse through all of my folders & see all of my files, but only those with single word mp3 names will play through the app.

HOWEVER, if I browse to my nas's location (port 9000) using any web browser (INCLUDING SAFARI ON THE IPOD TOUCH) all files play normally.

This is a major inconvenience!
