Problem:
Unable to stream video from Linkstatin Quad. I have pin pointed the issue to the LS-QL as these same files stream perfectly from my 1TB Tersatation HD-HTGL. These are NOT HD movie files but SD video. File type is MPG and size ranges from 3mb - 5mb. Seems like a buffering issue or the Quad is actually dropping from the network.
Symptom:
Movie starts then freezes after 5-10 mins. This happens with while streaming to either my PS3 or Popcorn Hour A-110 Media Tank.
Various methods tried - (all with same results)
1) Internal Twonky connection
2) Windows Media Share connection
3) TVersity connection
4) Myihome connection
5) SMB share connection
6) X-over cable directly between NAS and A-110
7) Sperate network created with only NAS and A-110
Configuration and hardware
4TB LS-QL = NAS (firmware v1.04)
DIR-655 = Dlink GB Router
GS605 = Netgear GB Switch
A-110 = Popcorn Hour Media Streamer
PS3 = Playstatin 3 gaming device (Streamer)
RTL6189 = PC GB NIC Card
VISTA = PC operating system
As I posted a few minutes ago in a new thread, there is a new firmware for the Linkstation Quad (1.04-0.61) that fixes problems with DLNA streaming.

Already updated to 1.04-061 firmware.
Just ran the other steps you've outlined.
Still dosen't work.
This may be related to the issue we are discussing in the following thread. Please check the symptoms of the lights when the linkstation Quad drops the connection and post.
