Title: LS-CHL 1.1 and Pure Avanti Flow
Post by: bwillis on January 07, 2009, 03:09:35 PM

I have the media server on the LS-CHL enabled, but my Pure Avanti Flow does not see the media server.

The Avanti documentation states that it will recognise UPnP media servers - I know the LS-CHL is DLNA compliant, but is it also UPnP compliant?

Any help appreciated!

DLNA is a standardized UPnP media server implementation. UPnP is not really even a standard, it defines more of a loose set of guidelines. Make sure your linkstation's firmware is up to date, reset it to defaults, and try again. Check with Avanti to see if DLNA devices work.

I'm using a LS-Pro very successfully to stream to a pure evoke flow, but am using TwonkyVision to stream (a license comes with the pure)

Both the LS-Pro and pure flow are excellent devices.
