Title: Do you know when the linkstation duo (LS-WXL) will be compatible with the DTS codec audio ?

I have not heard of any plans for updates to add support for more codecs.

However, I think that it will be a good idea. Now, a lot of films are with DTS codec audio.

That the same thing for the MKV codec video (especially for HD films).

 

I don't understand why Buffalo don't develop these codecs !!!

Is there any updates on the DTS codec?

 

I had to return my Buffalo LS-V3.0TL and while i wait for my new one I have been running the Plex Media Server.  It's got a great interface and it supports DTS, along with many other features.  I'm not sure I want to use the Twonky media server that is built into the Buffalo if it's not going to support DTS and other formats.
