Title: Link Station Quad 4TB LS-QL/R5 Flashing red/orange Light
Post by: SSBasra on July 15, 2011, 07:14:31 AM

Hi, I have a power cut and on power return my Link Station Quad 4TB has 1 green flashing light on disk 1 and a solid blue light, with a red/orange light (next to blue light)  flashing 2 long and 1 short or 1 short and 2 long.  I am running Firmware 1.11.  I can't see the unit any more under the Nas Navigator2 application wither.

I can ping the ip address from windows Command line and pressing the power button does nothing Has been running for last 20hrs like this.

Is this just doing a rebuild of the disk, if so how much longer should I wait?  What are the recommended steps.

The unit is connected to my network not to my pc directly

Thanks in advance

SB

I have a similar problem, can anyone help....

My power light is flashing red & disc 1's light is flashing green (the other 3 discs are solid green).  I can ping the device....

Many thanks

Does the nas navigator detect the unit and if so what error message/s does it report?
