Title: Write Speeds Extremley slow on 1tb Combo 4 drivestation
Post by: Michaelvfx on December 30, 2008, 11:36:11 AM

Write speeds with USB, 1394b, 1394a on 2 windows xp64 machines are around 2mbps, read speeds are about 40mbps. A vista32bit machines has about 25-30mbps write and about the same for read.

Whats the deal with the slow write speed on 64 bit machines? Bad drivers?

Also is there a 64 bit version of the Turbo USB driver? I have a feeling that could help out my situation, at least on the usb end.

Thanks

Michael

Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers for x64.  At this time we do not have the turbo drivers for x64, however I will pass up the request for it to our corporate office.
