hi, i purchased a refurbished HS-DH500GL . It did not come with ANY software or documentation.

I went to the buffalo website and downloaded the cd image that is available there. I also downloaded and read the documentation, including the manual and the quick start guide. I unzipped the image and tried to install on a mac. That is where the problem is. The download does not seem to include the linkstation navigator software that is needed to install on a mac. What am I doing wrong? Thx. Barry

just to be clear, i cannot seem to see the LinkNavigator icon that is shown on page 8/76 of the manual. thx. barry

All nas navigator software is the same, so if you go to buffalotech.com and choose the new linkstation live you can down load a free copy for your Mac.

Are you saying that the program lsnavi.exe (140kb, dated 4/15/06) will run on both windows and mac?

Paul, i did some more browsing on the buffalo site, and it seems as though this is the software that i need:

HOwever, this software does not seem to be available for download.

You can download it from buffalotech.com support downloads.

any mac version for any of our products will work for you.
