A few questions about loading and using applications with my new LinkStation ProDuo NAS drive.
1) Can I load several of my major application programs such as Word and Photoshop onto my LinkStation ProDuo and have them execute properly from my computer? I'm connected to the NAS via my home nework.
2) If I can -- I guess all I have to do is when I install the applications and it asks me where to install them -- I would point the install program to the LinkStation drive letter? right?
3) If I do this will I only be able to execute these applications from the computer I loaded the app from or can run these apps from any PC on my home network?
4) After loading these apps on the LinkStation, could I take the LinkStation to my brothers house and hook it up via USB port (or network cable) and run these applications from the LinkStation?
5) Is it possible to have Photoshop loaded both on my computer hard drive and the LinkStation hard drive at the same time? or will it confuse Photoshop and not allow me to run it?
Thanks for any help or advice

No, you cannot install applications directly to the drive. This is a NAS drive not an application server, as such running application directly off it is not something the unit supports. Also, the device will not recognize a USB connection at all, those ports are purely for input of a USB HDD for additional storage or possible backup.
