Title: Link Activity Light flashes constantly
Post by: FractalCracker on December 25, 2008, 05:09:45 AM

Hi - My Linstation 500GB drive is attached to a gigabit router on my home network.  The Link/ACT light constantly flashes, about once every 3 or 4 seconds, even though:

o  I am not hitting the drive from any networked pc.

o  PCast Media Server is disabled

o  no Print Server or USB drive connected

What's it up to?

If you have the nas navigator software installed it will send it packets, also keeps packets going with your dhcp server.
