Title: UPS not detected / Can't select Enable Radio Button
Post by: timseguy on January 10, 2011, 04:43:21 PM

Configuration:

Buffalo Linkstation Quad 4TB

Firmware 1.11

UPS - CyberPower CP600 LCD

UPS to Buffalo connectivity = USB

I've recently purchased a UPS (not supported one b/c I can't find or care for the limited supported options) and connected to the LS via a USB cable.  The LS doesn't recognize the UPS in the UPS section, although in the System Status (USB section) the device is recognized as follows:

USB Class= Other
Manufacturer = CPS
Device Name=UPS CP600
USB 2.0/1.1=USB 1.1

I have resarted the LS and tried various combinations of powering the UPS / LS etc... to no avail.  The LS will not let me select the "enable" radio button.  Any ideas or hacks (besides buying a supported version of the UPS)?

Thanks,

Tim
