Title: buffalo dive station external hard drive 1.0tb

can you help.

 after i purchased the drive station  i formatted  hard drive from fat to ntfs .what happens now is if the drive is attached to pc the pc will not boot into windows I have to remove usb connection and reboot again  can any body tell me how i can overcome this  apart from formatting drive back to fat  or just connect drive when pc is booted up.

Get a bios update and a chipset update for your PC.

 

Also what version of windows are you running?  Have you tried to get all of your windows updates?
