Hello

This post is addressed to Buffalo Tech sales or marketing folks. Are there any plans in the roadmap of Linkstation Mini to support a download manager? I think its quite a useful (green) feature that many other NAS products (inc. linkstation live and quad) already sport. As long as there are plans to extend the firmware in the near future, I'll be happy.

If yes, you have a buyer in me this Christmas :)

I am sure the community might also be interested in other features in the roadmap.

Please keep us posted on the response from Corporate. I'll wait for a week before deciding on which NAS drive to go with.

Hi Paul

Its been a while now. Could you coordinate this with your corporate marketing/engineering team and confirm their position on this feature? Any answer is good answer. I am also considering the linkstation pro duo, which also lacks the download manager feature. Some clarity on this issue would be much appreciated and useful for buyers.

Hi,

I'm also very interested to get an update on this ASAP please.

Now that the Thecus N0204 miniNAS is available with more features, it does seem like the LinkStation Mini is lagging behind in support, and I'm considering returning it in favour of the Thecus offering, but it would be an unfortunate waste of money if I had to; I'd rather keep the LinkStation Mini.

Please Buffalo... it's not a tough ask, please include a Download Manager ASAP and release a new firmware.
