I have no idea if you can it internally in the LS Live, but something that I bumped into the other day was that when I was configuring my firewall (ZyXel ZyWall 2+), it has a configurable port translation feature for WAN to LAN traffic. Well, sorry if this has nothing to do with what you are looking for.

Default ftp is 21 but you can open any port to that device then use FTP just put a : Port number at the end of the URL

I tried your suggestion using a differnt port and just add the port number at the end of the URL, Plus I forward the port "2100" in the router to the LINKSTATION LIVE IP address but was unable to even get a loin screen. Example: ftp://25.206.169.194:2100 am I missing somthing?

Thanks!

Dean
