Title: LinkStation Duo Pro 1T - data transfer rates are very slow...
Post by: rdwhite629 on December 11, 2008, 04:06:00 AM

I have my LinkStation Duo Pro (3.03 firmware) connected to my home network that is a wireless N network.  Transfer rates are very very very slow....  I recently tried to transfer 80 MB and it took nearly 1.5 hours.  This is just stupid.  I had suspected my wireless network but I can easily stream video from the internet and web pages load quickly.  10kb/sec transfer rates are less than dial up!  Any thoughts?

First make sure the firmware is up to date, if it is then flash it (directions are on the forums search under force firmware).  Then set the unit back to factory defaults from the web interface (under maintenance).  You can also adjust under the network tab the frame packet sizes, run a 1 gig test on each setting to determine the fastest for your network.
