Title: linkstation Live Media Server Issues - Removed Posts?
Post by: edd on December 10, 2008, 01:30:34 PM

Paul,

Can you confirm that you have deleted the thread discussing the problems that the linkstation live has with communicating with the PS3 from these forums?  My posts from early am on 12/10/2008, and the thread in which they occured, has gone missing and I cannot find them.  I assume they were removed for being bothersome.

It just seems a shame that other users affected by this long-standing bug should lose their thread for tracking these issues.

And a release date for this mystery firmware update would be nice too.

That thread has been sent to our corporate office to get a solution worked out.  We will have it reposted soon with a solution or a estimated date for the fix.

Paul,

Thank you. I had contacted DLNA and they mentioned that they are aware there is an issue and it is also under investigation with Buffalo and Sony.

We've seen many issues with the Playstation 3 and our DLNA Linkstations. It seems that Sony's firmware updates alternately fix, then break DLNA compatibility on the PS3.
