No access via network to HD-CELU2 DriveStation 2Share using Windows 7. Even searching via IP-address results in "nothing found". Using a Windows XP computer in the same network everything works fine. The DriveStation has the newest firmware and on my Windows 7 PC "Send LM & NTLM responses" is activated.

Can you ping the IP of the NAS from your Win 7 machine?

Yes, I can. NAS responded to ping.

Can you reach the DriveStation GUI via it's IP address in a web browser?  I know since it responded to ping this might be obvious, but I was wondering about the possibilities of a firewall or countermeasure software being in the mix.

Yes, I can access the NAS with IE via it's IP-address. But attaching the NAS to the file system is not possible. It does not appear in the network list as described above.

Try the following:

1. Click 'Start'
2. Choose All Programs->Accessories->'Run'
3. Type in \\[IP_of_NAS]
4. Press Enter

Post back your results.  It's possible the NetBIOS name resolution isn't working on your network.
