Post by: liantu on August 12, 2010, 03:49:35 AM

hi,

I bought a TeraStation Pro II recently. The modal is  TS-H4.0TGL/R5, firmware version is 1.33.

The problem is  the first time boot  will entry EM mode, LCD show TS-HTGL/R5-EM804 , then I press power button shut it down and boot again, this time it is work fine.

if I reboot it from web interface the same thing happen. it is working on TS-HTGL/R5-EM804.

Does anybody encounter this problem? How to fix it?

Thanks!

Try to re-apply the firmware onto the unit, EM mode typically dictates a problem with the unit, in the case sound slike the firmware.  Please follow this FAQ http://forums.buffalotech.com/t5/Storage/FAQ-2-of-5-Force-Firmware-update-procedure-please-read-this/td-p/11011
