Print Page - Media server partially working only

I have a link station pro duo, 2X1TB drives. The media server works but only partially. My Sony Bravia TV sees the unit, I can show pictures or play music but when I go in the video section on the TV, I cannot see my linkstation anymore. To clarify, it is not that I do not see the video files, I do not see the media server in the video section. For example, even if there is no music, I can still see the media server in the music section. I just won't be able to play any files.

I am wondering if it is possible that the media server works for music and picts but not for videos.

What kind of format is the video in? AVI, MKV, etc.?
