Afternoon all,
My linkstation had been working normally with 1.26 firmware installed. I'd had a few probs in the past but resets etc had sorted them out.
Recently however, the media server disappeared overnight. I use both a PS3 and an onkyo receiver to get access to it and neither of them, nor my laptop could find the DLNA server. Nor could I access the Twonky config page on :9050. Noticed the 1.33 firmware update had been released, so thought I'd give that a stab, but it hasn't fixed the problem.
Answers on a postcard before I have to buy myself a different NAS and send this one back!

What the heck does that mean? Have you tried re-initializing the NAS via System->Restore/Erase->"Restore LinkStation" after the firmware update to clear out the old footprints? Furthermore, dependent on the amount of media served it could take up to an hour for the database to build itself. Also, check your network settings and make sure you have a default gateway and DNS defined (I usually suggest 4.2.2.1 for DNS) so any licensing information can be obtained from the net as needed by the media.
