Title: Mapped drives not seen until accessed via Explorer
Post by: zurn on August 04, 2010, 12:09:37 AM

I have a LS-CH1 and it's been great, but i have a strange problem using it with my XP PC.  I have drives mapped to it  and they remain consistent (i.e., i can pull up explorer and find them listed), but if i go directly to an application (i have a media player that accesses files on one of them) upon bootup it fails.  If i then pull up explorer and click on the mapped drive and return to the application, it realizes it's really there and everything's fine.  I'm just wondering why this is the case--seems silly to have to actually click on a mapped drive for it to be verifyably "there" system-wide...

thanks for any help,

steve

Make sure that when you map the drive, you have reconnect at login checked.
