Blinking AC adaptor LED. Linkstation LS-WXL TL/R1 will not power on.
Is the screen or Nas Navi reporting any errors
NAS Navi does not report any problems or errors. This is probably inpart due to the unit not being able to power on thus NAS is not able to communicate any problems or errors.
Is it possbile the AC power adaptor failed? The manufacturer is APD model DA-48Q12.
Tried performing EM mode boot as described. The unit will not power on.
Here are my steps.
1) unplugged the power ac adaptor from the back of the unit
2) held down the FUNC button for more than 6 seconds
3) reconnected the power ac adaptor to the back of the unit while still holding down the FUNC button
4) waited for 45 seconds, no power, no lights on front of unit
BTW: The AC adaptor makes a clicking noise. About four clicks per second when unplugged from the unit, when the AC adaptor is plugged into the unit the speed of the clicking noise doubles.

Try to perform an EM mode boot to see if the unit will fix whatever problem may be occuring http://forums.buffalotech.com/t5/Storage/FAQ-1-of-4-EM-Mode-boot-procedures-please-read-this/td-p/11008
How the hell can he boot into EM mode if the unit does not power on AngelsAbyss? Please look at the answers you are giving and think long and hard before posting usless information again.
Giving an answer for the sake of giving an answer knowing it will not solve anything is alot worse then giving no answer at all.
OP, call your local support and see if they can send you out a replacement adaptor, if this fails to solve the issue then return the unit to your retailer.
There is power Davo, and per speaking with an RMA technician there is a chance of the unit catching with a TFTP if the unit boots into EM mode while the operation is running

Looooool. Have you done a packet sniff on a unit that has NOOO lights? there is NOOO communication => No data packets => Nothing the TFTP loader can pick up on!
Ever heard of the expression "There no point in beating a dead donkey?"
Spoke with Ray at Buffalo Tech Support and he is shipping a replacement AC adaptor.
Cool, problem solved. Same team davo and AngelsAbyss, same team.
