The most common is to see if they are in the recycle bin, if they are not to revocer any data there is professional recovery, a Linux based OS, as well as a Windows based program called UFS explorer

do not have any type of walk-thru, for a Linux based OS there are multiple walk-thrus on Google, just google "compiling XFS partition reader" and should get you where you need to go
