Title: Problem with HDD DriveStation 1TB

I have a buffalo EXT HDD 1 TB with lot of files and i decide to connet via usb to my router netgear for share the files without pc but my router recognizes only 600MB with the internal utilitiesby HDD..... plase help!!! my router is dgnd3300v2 and i have Win7 64

My model is buffalo drivestation HD-HX1.0TU3 any idea???

your router can only see the first partition on the drivestation which is the CDFS used for encryption.

There is no way to remove this so you will not be able to use it with your router.

Thnx for your answer but you are absolutelyy sure for that??? no ather way to fix or to format the hdd????

You can use Linux to remove the encrypted partition but my guess is that you have never used linux.
