Title: Can't Connect to Pc
Post by: bmlang on July 21, 2010, 01:39:22 PM

Hi. I have a HS-DH500GL that I used as a network drive. I don't have a network now so I want to connect directly to my pc but when I run the install disk  says there was an error and could not install.  I don't now the firmware but I've never upgraded so its probably the original that it came with.

try setting your computer to a static ip address that is within the same range that the device was originally one and see if that helps
