Title: Help Please Windows 7 Wont Recognise 2TB Drivestation
Post by: twest03 on July 18, 2010, 11:43:36 AM

Hi All,

Just purchased a 2TB HD-CX2.0 Drivestation for backup on my new i5 PC runing windows 7, unfortunatley it will not install, every time it tries all i get is a driver error message and when i click resolve issue it comes up with failure to resolve, i have un-plugged and plugged the USB back in several times with the same result apart from it seeing it as a external CD ROM at one point ? I have also tried to install it manualy but windows will not detect it, i am at a loss now :smileysad:

Can anybody offer any help or advice on this please.

Thanks

T.

Problem solved

The Western Digital Caviar Green that you use, the 2TB drive that had the most failures out there has yes you have guessed it FAILED !

Returning to my supplier to swap for a Seagate, should have stuck with what i know and trust.
