Title: Unable to acces restricted folder in one of my two computer
Post by: jackwolf on July 17, 2010, 11:36:51 PM

Hi,

I have one desktop in XP and a laptop in vista. Thru my home network I have no problem accessing the restricted folder in my desktop thru NASnav2 by keying in the user name & password but can't do so in my laptop. It keep showing "not accesible.... no permission... blur blur blur...".

For unrestricted shared folder i can access in both computer.

Anone knows the cause?

Thanks.

Try going to Run and type \\[IP_address_of_NAS] (e.g. the IP of the NAS in NAS Navigator) and attempt access that way.
