Hi Guys

Finally I have the webaccess working (really poor manuals from Buffalo!!!), but now I have this problem:

If I type http://"my_IP":9000/login/ I can access my Linkstantions Webservice, but I can't through www.buffalonas.com!?

Any experience with this?

Did you enable buffalonas.com? Plus what is the exact error code do you get?

I believe I enabled buffalonas.com, I also gave it a name!? Isn't it under the same setup section as webaccess!?

IE just says "Page can't be displayed" (as if the page doens't exit).

I'm having the same problem, I can't access the drive through buffalonas.com unless I'm on my network (which isn't really the point) and I can't use the bittorrent

Thinking it has to be a router setting...I have the apple airport extreme

IP:9000 success means it works internally probably your NAS is just not reachable from the outside world.

If you want it to work with BuffaloNAS it is necessary to:

- make a port forwarding in the router, [WAN IP]:[port #] to [LinkStation IP]:9000, the port has to be in the LS config for WA

OR

- switch to UPnP in the LinkStation WA config, make sure the router supports it and the option is activated

That usually does the trick.
