Title: LS-500GL USB drive
Post by: freekie on July 14, 2010, 07:49:45 PM

I own the LS500GL.  I purchased a New Western Digital 1.5TB Elements USB drive.  The NAS wont recognize it as being connected.  What do I have to do to get the NAS to see it?  I already have a WD 500g My Book USB drive attached to the NAS and it works flawlessly.

I have formatted it using XFS but it still dons'nt see it as connected.  Should I use MBR or Apple Partition Map when I partition it?
