Hi Everyone,

Try as I might, I cannot seem to get the download manager to actually download anything, they are all stuck on 0%

Any ideas?

Buffalo, do you host a test torrent anywhere I could attempt to download?

These torrents are usually very well seeded:

http://vodo.net/

http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/

Are you sure that your NAS can actually get to the internet?  You may also want to change the BitTorrent port in case it's blocked by your ISP.

Are you enable DHCP or not.
If not, try to check the Gateway and DNS on network menu.
If using DHCP, try to follow.

- Initialize the LinkStation. (System-Restore)

- Create new folder for torrent.

- Change download folder to new folder. (Extention-Bittorent)

- Change port to 58500 (Download manager)

thanks for the replys guys.  Have checked my setup and everything appears to be correct.

I can't seem to add torrents from URL either, only from file if this sheds and light on it?

If you can't add via URL, then I think I'd double check that your NAS really does have access to the internet.  BitTorrent will get the torrent from the URL you give it, so if you can't get the torrent...

i have the same problem my download manager says "Torrent URL has been sent."

but never shows it on the list.

if i provide the torrent file it remains to zero %

i have FW 1.24

my linkstation pro is 192.168.0.47 and the PC that share the internet connetction is 192.168.0.5 and is set as primary gateway
