Title: Unable to browse Terastation shares from one server
Post by: bbannerman on June 28, 2010, 09:22:33 AM

I have a Buffalo Tera/ LinkStation TS-XE4.0TL/R5 with firmware version 1.30. I have a share setup on the device named BKP with Access restrictions set to a group of external users. I am able to browse the share from every computer except one. When I try to access the share from this specific computer i am encountered with a Connect to Device dialog box looking for a username and password.

I have tried Buffalo support, and you can only imagine how helpful they were. Has anyone else seen this problem or know how to fix it?

The machine that I am unable to browse the shares from is a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 Domain Controller. I have an identical machine that is also a DC that is able to browse the shares. The other machines that are able to browse the shares are also Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 but not DCs.
